Modifying FEHB Effective Dates

Other Government Program Benefits, Beneficiary Web Enrollment (BWE)

FEHB for TRR or TRS programs can be modified using the Other Government Programs tab. Effective (start and end) dates may be modified for FEHB.

To modify effective dates:

1. Click the Other Government Programs tab.
2. Click Modify Dates.
3. Enter an updated Start Date, if applicable.
   • If the Start Date is more than 90 days in the past, it cannot be edited. Dates can be no earlier than 90 days in the past and no later than 90 days in the future.
4. Select the appropriate No End Date or Select End Date radio button. If you select the Select End Date option, enter an End Date or select from the calendar.
   • Dates can be no earlier than 90 days in the past and no later than 90 days in the future.
5. Click Modify. Click BWE Home to return to the BWE Home page.
