Managing Your Document Requests - Overview

Select Correspondence/Documentation, Defense Personnel Records Information (DPRIS), Request Personnel File tab

The OMPF Requests list on the Request Personnel File tab displays your "Processing" and "Completed" OMPF requests.

1. Click the Request Personnel File tab to display the OMPF Requests list.
2. On this page you can:

• Click Request my Personnel File to request documents.
• View completed and pending (processing) requests (click View Files).
• Extend the expiration date for completed requests for one (1) month (click Extend Expiration Date).
• Reverse the sort order by clicking the up or down arrow at the right of a column heading.
• Search for a particular request or set of requests by entering criteria (such as year or Service branch) in the Search box.
• Use the < and > arrows to navigate through the previous or next page. Note that you can specify the number of items to display per page (i.e., 5, 10, or 20).
• Refresh the list to see records that match your search criteria (click Refresh OMPF Request List).
