Changing Your Sponsor

The information displayed in milConnect depends upon who is logged in. If you are in one (1) of the following categories you might need to change your sponsor to view some of your information:

• Sponsors who are also dependents
• Dependents who have more than one sponsor

For example, milConnect displays the medical eligibility and enrollment information of a dependent of a Joint Service marriage when that dependent signs in to milConnect under one (1) sponsor, but not the other.

In such a case, the dependent beneficiary must change to the appropriate sponsor to see their eligibility and enrollment information on the Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy tabs on the BWE page.

To change your sponsor:

1. From any page in milConnect, click Change My Sponsor at the top right of the page.

Note:  This link displays only when the beneficiary has more than one (1) sponsor.

The Select Sponsor page in My Access Center opens.

2. On the Select Sponsor page, select the appropriate sponsor from the drop-down list.
3. Click Save. The Manage Account Page in My Access Center opens. Or, click Cancel to return to milConnect.
4. Click Continue to milConnect Website. The milConnect Home page opens, showing the updated sponsor information at the top right of the page.
